Crankshaft
Crankshaft or Crankshaft becomes a major component in an internal combustion engine. Crankshaft becomes the center axis of any piston movement. Generally crankshaft made of cast iron because it must be able to accommodate the moment of inertia produced by the movement up and down the piston.
So the main function of the crankshaft is to change the up and down motion produced by the piston into a circular motion which will be transmitted to the transmission. This type of engine spare parts must be made of strong material and able to withstand a load or a strong moment because the crankshaft must receive a high engine speed.
